We endeavor to provide clear and accurate information concerning each product, including its:
Sylvie Silk fabrics are represented as 100% silk only when their textile fiber content is 100% silk. Finished products made from 100% silk fabric may contain necessary functional or structural components, such as elastic, zippers, thread, or headband cores, where disclosed in the product description.
Because silk reflects light differently depending on its weave, finish, color, and viewing angle, photographs are visual references. Color and sheen may vary depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and device calibration.
The applicable product price will be displayed before an order is submitted.
Before completing checkout, customers will be shown or informed of:
Import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees, handling fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country may not always be collected at checkout. Where such charges are not collected by Sylvie Silk, they may be payable by the recipient upon importation.
Additional information is available in our [Duties, Taxes & VAT] policy.
Customers will have an opportunity to review and correct their order before submitting it.
After an order is placed, we will send an electronic acknowledgment to the email address supplied during checkout. The point at which a binding sales contract is formed is described in our [Terms of Use & Sale].
We may contact the customer if additional information is reasonably necessary to verify an order, prevent fraud, confirm delivery information, or comply with applicable law.
Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.
Payment services may be provided by independent payment processors. Those providers may process payment and transaction information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Sylvie Silk does not ordinarily receive or retain a customer’s complete payment-card number when payment is processed through an independent payment provider.
Available delivery methods, estimated delivery periods, and applicable shipping charges will be shown during checkout or described in our [International & EU Shipping] policy.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customs processing, security inspections, carrier delays, severe weather, incorrect delivery information, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery time.
Customers should inspect the delivery address carefully before submitting an order.
Where the statutory EU right of withdrawal applies, a consumer may withdraw from an eligible online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. Certain exceptions may apply.
To exercise the right, the customer must communicate a clear decision to withdraw before the withdrawal period expires.
Instructions, exceptions, contact details, and the model withdrawal form are provided on our [EU Right of Withdrawal] page.
After notifying us of withdrawal, the customer must ordinarily return the eligible goods within 14 days. Unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires us to pay, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.
The right of withdrawal may not apply to certain categories of goods, including, where the legal requirements are satisfied:
A product will not be treated as exempt merely because returning it would be inconvenient for Sylvie Silk.
For fabric cut to a customer-selected length, whether an exception applies may depend on the particular product, how it was prepared, and applicable law. Any exception we intend to rely upon will be identified before purchase where legally required.
Where a valid statutory withdrawal applies, Sylvie Silk will reimburse eligible payments without undue delay and ordinarily no later than 14 days after being informed of the customer’s decision to withdraw.
For sales of goods, we may withhold reimbursement until:
whichever occurs first.
Unless otherwise agreed, reimbursement will ordinarily be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Where required, the refund will include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order. Additional costs resulting from a customer’s selection of an expedited or premium delivery service may not be refundable.
The customer may be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Please contact us promptly if an item arrives:
Where mandatory EU sales-of-goods rules apply, consumers may be entitled to remedies such as repair, replacement, a price reduction, or termination and refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
EU consumer rules generally provide a minimum two-year legal guarantee for covered consumer goods, although national law may provide additional protection. This legal guarantee is separate from the 14-day withdrawal right.
Instructions for reporting an issue are provided in our [International Returns] policy.
Customers should first contact Sylvie Silk so that we have an opportunity to review and resolve the matter.
